Eat the Right colour  
                                                             
So,you have made  your guesses, right? Well ,you know  that your body needs a variety of vitamins,minerals and phytochemicals in order  to stay healthy and fit. Now  the big  question is 'Where would they come from? The  simple answer is to eat food of all colours every day . I'll talk about  each colour and its food value.                              .............................................................................                                                                                                      Let me begin with Red , Red in your diet helps maintain four things 

1. A Healthy Heart 

2. Memory Function
3.A Lower  Risk of  Some Cancers.
4.Urinary Tract Health

Colour therapist say that red fruit  have  a warning  and  energizing quality. I can think  of variety  of red items of food,vegetables and fruits such as cherries, , chilli peppers,red peppers,radishes,,raspberries,apples, strawberries,tomatoes,watermelon,pomegranates.That's a long  list indeed .

Now on to Yellow and orange 
When you buy  your vegetables and fruit, think of  colour and variety . how does  yellow  and orange help  us? The two help us maintain four things.

3. good vision 
4. a healthy immune system 
 orange  and yelluw fruit and vegetables keep you fresh and active.every day ,include a variety of orange and yellow foods like these ;
 apricots,butternut,pineapples,carrots,pumpkin, golden  kiwifruit,rock melons,grapefruit, sweetcorn,lemons,yellow tomatoes,peaches- wasn't that  another long list?

 Brown and white 
 White in your diet helps maintain three things;
1.Heart health
2. Cholesterol levels 
3. A lower risk of  some cancers
 White , tan  and brown  fruit and vegetable contain varying amounts of phytochemicals which are of  interest to scientists.
Get all the  health benefits of white by including a variety of foods such as bananas,onions ,brown pears, cauliflower, potatoes,dates,white melons,garlic, white nectarines,ginger ,white peaches, mushrooms,turnips.

Green in your diet helps maintain three things

Green vegetable contain a chemicals that protect you from heart attack and keeps your heart healthy . they also protect one against bacteria, thus reducing the risk of food poisoning and tumours. they are recommended for low blood pressure and for soothing  the nerves. go green everyday  with a variety of fruit and vegetables like these; green melons,asparagus,green pears,avocados,green pepper,broccoli,kiwifruit,sprouts,leafy greens,celery,leeks,cabbage,lettuce,cucumbers,green apples,okra or  the lady's finger,green beans,peas,green cabbage,spinach,green grapes.

Finally,blue and purple
include blue and purple in your diet to maintain four things;

 Blue/purple fruit and vegetables are considered good for  healthy aging, get a variety  of blue/purple every day with foods such as these;
 Beetroot,plums,blackberries,prunes, blackcurrants,purple asparagus  blackberries , , purple grapes,cranberries.
